In confirmation of my telegram of

the 28th. ultimo, I regret to inform Your Lordship that

Lance-Sergeant Harry Vincent Parr died at the Government

Civil Hospital at 1.20 p.m. on the 27th. ultimo of menin-

-gitis.

His mother's address is:-

Mrs. A. Parr,

74, Teviot Street,

Bromley By Bow,

London.

He was admitted to Hospital on

20th. July and only developed serious symptoms on the day

before his death.
